Did John DiFronzo Murder The Man That Took His Wife’s Virginity?
Before she met her current husband, Rose Mary DiFronzo (nee Rosemarie Masciopinto – aka Rose Mary Masco), was married to a slightly older man named Anthony DiVenere and pregnant by age sixteen. The two were married at Holy Rosary Church in Chicago on September 4, 1948. They had a son named Michael, who is known today as Michael DiFronzo. I know him personally. Last time I saw him he gave me a business card that said he was a car salesperson at one of the Perillo dealerships in Chicago. Since then I heard he left the dealership due to health complications.
John DiFronzo fell in love with the young, beautiful but unhappy Rose Mary DiVenere sometime in the late 1940s. Rumors that I have heard over the years, from sources I did not feel were credible enough, suggested that DiFronzo murdered her husband to allow himself the opportunity to court her. By September 17, 1951, John DiFronzo, Sr, and Rose Mary DiFronzo were living together as man and wife with a baby boy of their own, John Jr. The family resided at 2436 N. 78th Court, Elmwood Park, Illinois. John Jr. is now deceased.
With this rumor in mind, I endeavored to write an article to expose one of the murders committed by DiFronzo, a homicide which would be very difficult for him to deny. However, after a great deal of research, I discovered the rumor that DiFronzo murdered DiVenere is a complete falsehood. Anthony J. DiVenere, Sr., is alive today living in Illinois. He is approximately 84 years old.
I wrote this piece because I have previously mentioned this murder rumor in one of my threads on KTF Media Group. Even though I was careful to explain that it is only a rumor, I am compelled to clear up the sorted details. Please understand that my source for this rumor is not the source I have used for writing about the actual murders I have accused DiFronzo of committing. Thank you.
