It was recently exposed that Governor Quinn received a $75,000.00 political contribution from the Teamsters Union weeks before his signature went on the dotted line to help that same union. Chicago’s convention business is seriously flagging, largely because it is prohibitively expensive to conduct a convention in Chicago.

This recent bill attempted to streamline costs in order to draw back lost convention business by reforming the governance of the Metropolitan Pier and Exposition Authority (known as “McPier”). The Teamsters and Carpenter’s Union heavily opposed the move, which would have cost them business. Quinn used his amendatory veto power to cut a sweeter deal for his Union cronies, but the state legislature struck down his changes and passed the bill as they originally wrote it.

The Unions say they have always supported Quinn, but the numbers do not show it. How shocking is it that, before Quinn took over the governor’s office, the Teamsters had given him about $15,000 in total! As it stands today, roughly one year and five months since he came to power, Quinn has received at least $175,000 ($75,000 from the latest contribution, plus two $50,000 checks from Teamsters Volunteers in Politics, a shill for Teamsters Joint Council 25). Most of this money has come rushing in since September and the kick-off of his re-election campaign.

This all comes on the heels of Quinn’s last fundraising scandal, where he blamed an aide for trying to sell private meetings with interest groups for $15,000 a pop.

Although Quinn denies there was any link between the sudden influx of Teamster cash and his amendatory veto of the McPier reform bill, it does look suspicious. Bill Brady, the GOP candidate for governor of Illinois, has demanded that there be an investigation in the matter. “The citizens of Illinois are suffering the effects of the pay-to-play politics that were the hallmark of the Blagojevich-Quinn administration. We cannot allow another incident to go unchecked.”

This deserves a serious looking-over by the Illinois Attorney General, Lisa Madigan. Strangely, her office has been pretty much silent about it, even as all goes down against the backdrop of the Blagojevich corruption trial. Maybe she just wants to have the Feds do her job.

I’ve known Quinn to basically say that he, “always tries to do what is best for the public.” I would have been more satisfied to hear that he always DOES what is best, not that he TRIES!

I wonder if Quinn has forgotten about all his little ‘Tea Parties’. While his political party decries the modern tea party movement as Astroturf, I wonder if they know the governor was semi-famous for pulling the exact same stunt for years. In 1978 he urged Illinois citizens to send tea bags to protest Jim Thompson. In 2006 he used the same tactic against Commonwealth Edison.

Less well known is that years ago he put on his show for the media in the Town of Cicero during the time that Mr. Henry Klosak was mayor. But this time he actually stole from the state of Illinois to do it!

Quinn was Illinois State Treasurer at the time and to secure publicity he and his employees from his office staged a ‘Tea Party’ (on government time, mind you) at the weekly board meeting. He was yelling like a mad man for residents to mail tea bags to the mayor’s office. Because this happened in Cicero the media flocked to cover the story.

The mayor’s office received ONE tea bag.

The media hurried to get the story on the noon news. They did not stay to see the desecration of the American flag, as it was being tossed to the floor. It was great publicity for Quinn dressed in Revolutionary War garb though.

Not one media outlet questioned why he and his employees from his office were “stage” playing on taxpayers time. Did he think at that time using government employees to further his career was best for the citizens? Guess this was just another one of the times he was TRYING instead of DOING.

The killings continue in the city of Chicago and everyone knows it will only get worse. The only one that doesn’t seem to realize that is King Daley II. Apparently his whole Royal Court is afraid to bring the proud Emperor the news that he, in fact, is wearing no clothes… or (even better) no bullet proof vest.

Chicago is a warzone, and the whole world knows it now. Forget about the trade shows for a moment, cause people are not going to come to a city that’s so overwhelmed by violence that legislators are trying to call in the National Guard.

Illinois State Representative John Fritchey is intimately aware of how terrible the situation is in Chicago. Earlier this month he said, “As we speak, National Guard members are working side-by-side with our troops to fight a war halfway around the world. … We have another war that is just as deadly taking place right in our backyard.”

Another Illinois State Rep, LaShawn Ford, recently penned an open letter on the subject of violence in Chicago. He wrote, “The Chicago Police Department is working hard, but the Mayor and the Police Superintendent have said that help is needed. We think that deploying the Guard is a good option that should be used to save lives.”

But I thought the handgun ban was supposed to keep crime down? Oh wait, it doesn’t.

Several areas in Chicago are hot spots for violence and should be addressed by the King, unless he does not care how many subjects he loses in those areas. But how can it be addressed?

I suggest the public put pressure on King Daley II’s buddy (and loyal subject) in Springfield, Mike Madigan, to amend the guidelines for TIF funds so the pile of money the King has squirreled away can be put to good use.

For those that don’t know, TIF stands for Tax Increment Financing, and it is a heavily used and largely unknown tool. Here is a more in-depth definition:

TIF is a tool to use future gains in taxes to finance the current improvements that will create those gains. When a public project such as a road, school, or hazardous waste cleanup is carried out, there is an increase in the value of surrounding real estate, and often new investment (new or rehabilitated buildings, for example). This increased site value and investment creates more taxable property, which increases tax revenues. The increased tax revenues are the “tax increment”. Tax Increment Financing dedicates that increased revenue to finance debt issued to pay for the project. TIF is designed to channel funding toward improvements in distressed or underdeveloped areas where development would not otherwise occur. TIF creates funding for public projects that may otherwise be unaffordable to localities.

Chicago has over 150 TIF districts. King Daley II is not required to report how much money he is making with TIFs, or even to show how he is spending those funds.

A while ago the Reader pulled a Freedom of Information Act request to get access to those numbers and discovered that Chicago makes about 1.5 billion a year from TIFs. 43 cents of every dollar of those funds goes to the 2nd, 27th and 43rd wards (which compose the Loop, parts of the Gold Coast and the near west and near north sides). There is no requirement that TIF funds from one district cannot go to another, more needy district.

King Daley II’s plan to gentrify the poverty and violence-stricken neighbors of his city is to give money to the rich and powerful? Even 2nd Ward alderman Bob Fioretti realizes the massive expenditures in his ward are a terrible waste. He commented that, “We need to shift budget funds to areas of the city that aren’t getting anything and are really hurting.” I thought TIF was about bringing back blighted communities, not lining the pockets of fat cats.

His Lordship might want to consider amending the TIF guidelines to help his failing school system too.

I also endorse moving police officers into troubled neighborhoods. When local law enforcement is seen on the block, in and out of uniform, day in and day out, there will be results. Residents will feel safer and there will be a sense of cooperation between the city and the community. Tio Hardiman, director of the Chicago-based CeaseFire (which brokers ‘cease-fire’ agreements between warring gangs), believes that community teamwork is the very heart of this issue. “Right now, what is lacking in the city is that people involved in violence prevention need to collaborate better.”

Visibility of officers will deter crime. Before going in my 7 year “coma” the town of Cicero was starting a program to address a few of our hot spots. The town was in the process of purchasing properties in higher crime areas and offering officers to live in those properties. If Cicero can do it, why can’t Chicago?

This is the time to act! King Daley II can make the difference, maybe even live up to his ‘title’. But it seems like he’s content with cracking wise-ass jokes, and that just makes him look like the Court jackass… I mean jester.

Fair trial for Blago?

Anyone with any common sense and knowledge of the federal judicial system has to realize that former Governor Blagojevich cannot get a fair trial in the United States District Court, Northern District of Illinois and/or the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. The jury pool, not only in Illinois but across the whole country, is irrevocably tainted. It all began when U.S. Attorney Patrick Fitzgerald said this to the whole world:

This began a torrent of media coverage on the Prince of the Pompadour. Blagojevich’s 15 minutes of fame were all bad. Major media immediately branded him corrupt, especially compared to the recently-elected Barack Obama. That, combined with his own arrogant appearances on major television stations across the country, leaves little room for a delayed opinion of him.

Is the fact that the government trumpeted their accusations (long before any real charges were filed) on a global loudspeaker a deal breaker for fairness? It definitely does not help. Is the fact that Blago is bad on TV enough to convict him? I certainly hope not, but we should be realistic here.

Now that charges have finally been filed, Blago has a chance to strike back at his accusers. The whole dirty ball of Chicago politics can now come into play, and there is a lot of dirt to go around. Trust me, I know.

So Blago’s attorneys want to pull several prominent Chicagoland politicians on to the stand, including President Obama. This move has been met with almost universal condemnation. I say why not put Obama on the stand? We are supposed to be a country of laws with a judicial system of fairness. If one is fighting for to prove one’s innocence and maintain one’s freedom, why should anyone be limited to present a full defense? Is that really the American way? When prosecutors argue to omit any evidence from jurors or judges deny any evidence to be heard before the jury, what disservice are they doing to the system?

To deny Blago access to an untainted jury pool and restrict his defense is essentially to condemn him to a conviction. Can the courts do this to a presumed to be innocent man? Those of the courts have taken an oath to uphold the laws of the Constitution. Does that oath have an expiration date? Are those who do not uphold the laws of the land involved in a conspiracy to withhold the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth from the jurors?

It makes me wonder if any politician or elected official can get a fair trial. What type of peers of Blago’s will sit on the jury? Will the system find a suitable cross-section of Illinois politicians who can understand how things are done in this state and judge Blago fairly according to those standards?

Since I know it will be impossible for Blago to have a fair trial, I suggest that he speak with his first employer, Fast Eddie Vrdolyak, or former Cook County Commissioner Allan C. Carr. Both these men apparently have an inside track to the federal system.

Do not ask me for advice, though. I was imprisoned for seven years, and I think Blago will go down for some of the same reasons I did. In a system as corrupt as the one in Illinois, periodically a scapegoat needs to be trotted out in front of the masses. While this time I do not want to share any specific details concerning my own struggle with the law (that tale deserves its own article… or book!), there is that one, central theme in both my and Blago’s story. Every now and then, someone needs to swing. It hardly matters if they are guilty or not.

According to sources, it seems the DEA will not be filing criminal charges against Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr., MD. However, it appears the State of Illinois will soon be going after his medical license. Evidently the state frowns on a Pusher M.D. for issuing illicit prescriptions to patients-in-pain that are now addicted to the narcotics that he prescribes for them.

Personally, I have one lawsuit currently pending against Dr. Giacchino for breach of privacy related issues. I have the option of resuscitating another lawsuit against Giacchino for medical malpractice, which I voluntarily dismissed approximately six months ago. It has been difficult for me to find an attorney because of the Chicago Outfit connection to my lawsuits against Giacchino. Giacchino was a codefendant in the civil RICO case that I filed last year against the Chicago Outfit for extortion and conspiracy to commit murder. Most attorneys that refused to take my case did so because they feared for their safety.

On March 10, 2010, a development occurred relating to my pending privacy-issue action against Giacchino. Unfortunately, I am not at liberty to divulge details on said development at this time. However, I can promise you that when I do release the details it will be alarming, as they relate to the Chicago Outfit.

One of KTF Media Group’s most loyal and dedicated fans, former police officer and senior citizen Joseph Norris, has recently filed a lawsuit in Cook County, Illinois, against Dr. Giacchino for medical malpractice. According to my sources, Dr. Giacchino purportedly over-prescribed Mr. Norris large quantities of narcotic medications, resulting in a number of damages.

While Dr. Giacchino barely manages to hold on to his medical license, be advised that you may contact Illinois State Medical Investigator Dan Murphy if you have any complaints that you wish to file against Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr., MD. You may reach Inspector Dan Murphy through the following phone number: (312) 814-4500. You must ask specifically to be routed to Inspector Murphy’s Des Plaines, Illinois, office. Thank you.

Mrs. Colletti, who I harbored special feelings for when I was 5 1/2, shared with us some of her holiday experiences. I will never forget a similarity that we both shared. It turned out that both of us had the same special job every Thanksgiving. It was to spread cream cheese on the celery sticks. I remember feeling very important having such job. I miss those simpler days.

As I sit back and try to pinpoint how I have gotten where I am, all the twists and turns that brought me to today, I wish that I had done things a little differently. The simple, pure pleasure like helping my family prepare Thanksgiving dinner leaves all the complicated and supposedly more grown-up satisfactions I have known in the dust.

My father, God rest is beautiful soul, was a very wise man. He preached that education is the only way in life. He did not base this theory on his educational background, which was tragically lacking. Instead he based it on his many observations in life. Sadly my dad died when I was a teenager and he was not there to kick my butt, so to speak. I know that spankings are considered counterproductive and wrong these days (and I agree), however, it got the job done for centuries. Even though I lost my father and best friend long ago, I am very thankful to God for having him for those precious few years. He was a great father and provider and very comical to put it mildly. I hope to be a tenth of the man he was some day.

During this holiday season I am thankful for being alive and in good health. While there is always room for improvement in finances, I consider myself blessed because I am young and motivated. I try to emulate my father’s drive to improve my life and the lives of those around me. With this positive spirit invigorating me I do my best to face enemies like the Chicago Mob, who have extorted and repeatedly threatened to murder me. I am scared, but feel my life will be easier in the days and years ahead.

It is said that God designates the tough work to the capable ones. That being said, I feel blessed to accept my role in exposing some of the terrible wrongdoings in the community. In further thanks, I wish to make a promise to the Chicago community that I will see to it that Dr. Joseph L. Giacchino, Jr, M.D., Mobster Ruddy Fratto and Mob Boss John DiFronzo (and their associates) are held accountable for their improprieties against my family and others. Although I am beginning to lose confidence in my 8 month legal battle in federal court against the Mob, I am exploring other options. Hopefully these new paths will allow me to rely on government resources to fuel my crusade for justice.

In the end, I feel most blessed and thankful for my life. Human life is the most sacred gift to receive. Every time I look at a beautiful baby I think to myself, how could some people harm others? Life is God’s greatest gift, and all who have life must thank God for such a great gift. So on this day of Thanksgiving I invite everyone to celebrate the simple joy of friends and family.

I wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving.

Failure." width="300" height="126" />Not too long ago, the slight majority of America’s registered voters, gripped in a frenzy reminiscent of Charles Manson’s followers, voted into the presidency a community organizer from the most corrupt city in America. Barack Obama, our first half-white President, was treated as if he descended from Heaven, truly the answer to every woe and worry in the United States.

Funny thing is Obama didn’t descend on the White House alone, though. With him came a small mountain of Chicago Machine politicians and bureaucrats. Some media outlets have referred to the White House as the 51st ward, illustrating how Obama’s meteoric rise also meant the promotion of Chicago’s (and Daley’s) agenda to the national stage. Among the many objectives of the 51st ward was the acquisition of the 2016 Olympic Games.

All of Obama’s most powerful Chicago allies wanted these Games, including the mighty Oprah. To support Barack Obama in his bid for the White House Oprah backstabbed the Clintons, going great lengths to churn as much media support as she could to protect and promote Obama. This obviously meant Obama was in hock to Oprah (along with countless other Democrats in Chicago) and the guaranteed success of the 2016 Olympic bid would be the first of many markers to be called in.

Now that his man was in the White House, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, the de facto power broker in Chicago Machine politics, appeared overly confident about the prospect of getting the games, gallivanting around the world for the last two years with billionaire Pat Ryan. I won’t even mention all the sucking up to Oprah Winfrey, including the recent closing down of Michigan Avenue so she could do her show last month. This tight knit group of Chicagoans schemed to promote their ultimate vision of a Chicago Olympics (and the mountains of revenue and power it would supply them), while most of us sat blithely by as they did so. While the little guy would be regulated into oblivion in the name of the Olympics, these Monsters of the Midway would cash in big time on construction revenue, tax increases and increased international clout. The fix was in, success all but guaranteed.

So it came as a terrible shock to all the adherents of Obamaism when the combined power of Obama and Oprah, the dynamic ‘Two Os’ of power and influence peddling in Chicago, could not work their magic on the International Olympic Committee.

God bless America, because America needs as many blessings as it can get, particularly now that it is painfully obvious that Obama is not the ‘God’ we believed he was. I believe Daley was thinking the rest of the world would be as naive as the majority of America’s voters were on Election Day last year. “Yes We Can” was the slogan that made voters in last year’s presidential race delirious. As the credibility of this matra wanes it is now a pitch for the manufacturer of Chia pets. Obama’s resounding failure only digs the hole a little deeper.

Apparently we Americans needed the unbiased opinion of the IOC to deal the eye-opening reality check that no one in America, especially the media and talk show hosts, has been willing to deal. A Chicago insurance salesman, mayor, talk show host and former community organizer might wield a great deal of power in Chicago, but the IOC has made it abundantly clear the rest of the world is not swayed by the influence of Chicago (thank God!). The Windy City, best known for the Al Capones and John Difronzos of the world, is a town rife with terrible violence and horrendous corruption, and that’s why it was voted unfit by the international community. No amount of slick talk and backroom politicking could smooth this one over.

The Olympic dream has gone on for two years and Mayor Daley and Pat Ryan have enjoyed it more than anyone has, I am sure. After the reality check the IOC boldly dealt us, there’s no excuse for Daley to not deal with the deficits, taxes, parking meters, corruption and the entire slew of other deficiencies this fine city suffers from. I cannot wait to see how long Chicago’s Police Superintendent Jody Weiss keeps his job, now that his resume is no longer a necessity for showboating. Despite his outsider and reformer status (shades of Daley Sr.’s appointment of Orlando Wilson), Weiss was never able to change the way the CPD operated, and arguably will be leaving Chicago in an even more miserable state than he found it. Sadly it matters not in the end, because he was little more than window dressing anyway.

As a post script, it will be interesting to see if any of the co-hosts on The View will accuse the IOC of a possible racial motive against Obama. They will need something new to talk about, because I doubt they will bother remembering how they commented on August 2009 being the deadliest month for U.S. Military in Afghanistan (since 9-11) while Obama was preparing for his trip to Copenhagen in order to appease the allegedly corrupt Cook County/Chicago Democratic Machine bosses.

In order for you to understand what I am talking about in this article, you have to read a piece that I located on the Cardinal George Fan Club web site.

—
FRIDAY, APRIL 14, 2006

Matters take a nasty turn in Chicago: an overview.

A very sad occurrance occured today in the Cathedral of Chicago:

A man was arrested for criminal trespass after he reportedly yelled at Cardinal Francis George during a mass Thursday at Holy Name Cathedral in Chicago, according to police.

Colleen Dolan, communications director for the Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, said the cardinal told her that the man carried a knife and a sign demanding the cardinal step down, but police said they found no knife or sign.

The incident occurred sometime after 5:15 p.m.

Police said that the man had been warned against entering the church, but that he went inside and created a disturbance. He was charged with criminal trespass, according to Police Officer Hector Alfaro.

According to the cardinal’s version, the man stood up at the rear of the church and began shouting at him.

—

If I were an older brother or a close friend to Colleen Dolan, communications director for the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago, I would tell her, “Do not be so quick to trust the information that Cardinal George asks you to release to the public.”

I was present during the mass indicated in the article attached above. In fact, I was in the company of a number of witnesses other than myself, all of whom remember very vividly witnessing this confrontation. The suspect was literally less than 5 feet from us when he engaged the cardinal. I watched the suspect very closely. For a second, I glanced at the cardinal. I will never forget the look of fear on the cardinal’s face during this brief but disturbing interruption. After noticing the look on the cardinal’s face, I immediately refocused my eyes on the suspect, concentrating on his rambling speech.

While the man did not make any sense as he spoke, I do know with absolute certainty that the suspect was not armed with a knife or anything that remotely resembled one. The suspect made some verbal noise, which took all of 5 seconds, and made his way for the door. I was impressed by the cardinal’s ability to recover so well and continue with finishing mass. It was not obvious to any of us in the cathedral that the suspect was arrested. Why would anyone assume such, as everyone is supposed to have the right of free speech, even in a church.

Not too long after the incident, I read in one of the major Chicago newspapers that the suspect was followed from the cathedral and later arrested. The article also mentioned that Cardinal George reported to the police that he saw the suspect in possession of a knife. I immediately realized that was not correct. In order to confirm my memory I contacted the people that I was with during that mass. Every one of them agreed that a knife was not present.

The article also stated that the police did not recover a knife from the suspect. This only compounded my initial confusion. Sadly, this confusion ultimately dissolved into disbelief – not in my independently confirmed memory of the events, but in the testimony of Cardinal George.

The revelation that I experienced was shocking. I kept saying to myself, if someone that disagrees with the cardinal and interrupts his mass with some gibberish can be wrongfully accused of armed violence (the charge that stuck was trespassing, though how does one trespass in a church?), what would happen to someone if they started an internet magazine and published articles unfavorable to His Eminence?

Despite of my discovery I remained a loyal parishioner and decided to sweep my findings under the carpet, because a prominent clergy member that I discussed this experience with begged me to remain silent. I regret not going public with this sad tale sooner. Until now, I felt influenced by the church to keep quiet. May God forgive me?

Cardinal George, please understand that I will always appreciate you for your selfless service to our community. I realize that you are not perfect and I pray that you reexamine the events of that day so that the truth can be acknowledged. A very sad occurrence occurred that April day, but it can be rectified with a simple apology.

I have gone from dining with the bishops of Chicago and financially supporting the Catholic school system to questioning if whether the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago is sincere about their much vaunted ‘concern for the children’. I’d like to think the church is concerned for the children, but, after reviewing the transcripts and exhibits of Cardinal George and Bishop Goedert, I do not know what to think. To say I am conflicted on this subject would be an understatement. I fear that the mounting evidence is forcing me to doubt the sincerity of some church officials, which in turn casts a shadow on the creditability of the whole Catholic organization in Chicago.

In my opinion, a number of church officials appear to be more concerned about money and image than the safety of our children.

It pains me to make this statement. I would like to apologize to all the church officials, the esteemed Bishop Lyne foremost among them, who have served the Chicago community selflessly for so many years. I do not believe that a few rotten apples should ruin it for the entire bunch. To the contrary, I write this article today to motivate the honest and honorable members of the Roman Catholic Church, who I believe constitute the vast majority of the community, to stand up for the virtues this fine Christian organization holds at its core. It is imperative that we must not remain silent and allow the rotten church officials to continue covering up pedophilia because of its affect on fund-raising.

We need to make it abundantly clear that fund-raising would be greatly complimented if the church sincerely enforced a zero tolerance policy for pedophilia. I know the church likes for everyone to believe that a zero tolerance policy is in place, but in my opinion this is obviously not the case. After reviewing the transcripts of Cardinal George and Bishop Goedert’s depositions, it is difficult to believe that any such policy is enforced.

One thing that I do know, with great certainty, is the Catholic community needs all of the neutral party help it can get. Therefore, I am proud to say that KTF Media Group has established a neutral party mechanism for the Catholic community to turn to for help – The Cardinal Cody Observation Commission. You may access its website directly atwww.ccocommission.org. The Cardinal Cody Observation Commission, otherwise called the CCOC, will be an extra set of eyes and ears for the community, specifically in dealing with corruption surrounding the Catholic Archdiocese in Chicago. In particular the CCOC wants to help victims of sexual abuse have a voice in the community, and aid the Roman Catholic Church in finding pedophile priests and bringing them to proper, secular justice.

Please know that information collected by the CCOC will be handled in the most prudent way possible. John Cardinal Cody, the namesake of this enterprise, is surely an emblem of right action, particularly in concern to the welfare of children. In the spirit of the late and great Cardinal Cody, the CCOC pledges to keep a watchful eye over the church and wants it be known that if anyone in the church harms a child, the CCOC will be there to do everything humanly possible to help the victim.

Please do not forget to visit www.ccocommission.org and upload our banner to your website. In addition, please tell all of your friends, family members and other colleagues about the CCOC, assuring everyone that real help is finally here.

I encourage everyone of faith to pray for right action from Cardinal George and Bishop Goedert, and for all of the men and women in the church who turned away from God’s true path. With the aid of the community of faithful, the church can right some of these horrible occurrences and make sure that these sorts of lurid violations will never be swept under the rug ever again.

I would like to think that Bishop Goedert is concerned for the Children too. I’d like to think that I am the most handsome and intelligent man alive. Despite my deepest and most sincere hope that this is the case, reality assures me it is not.

Yet another recently released deposition, related to me via my acquaintance Jeff Anderson, has shocked me. Speaking with Jeff is always enlightening. This new deposition deals with the many serious controversies of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Chicago. A copy can be found for a limited time at the Archdiocese of Chicago website. It is a voluminous piece chock full of startling revelations.

I wish to digress for a second to share something. Chicago is presently the home base for the most influential politician in America, Mr. Barack Obama. It is also home for the most influential Catholic in America, Cardinal Francis George, President of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops. Given the many serious controversies surrounding Chicago politics and Chicago Catholics (i.e., pedophile priests), I ask myself, ‘why would Americans across our fine nation hold Chicago as a credible base to launch such leaders?’ Some call Illinois the ‘Land of Lincoln’, perhaps it is really best known as the ‘Territory of Al Capone & Company’ (please be advised that my mention of Al Capone is not an insinuation that he was a pedophile).

With this ugly state of affairs in mind, I would like to return to my original point.

For those of you that are unaware, I have worked very hard over the years to aid the Archdiocese here in Chicago, particularly the elementary school system. I have insisted that friends and associates donate their money to various entities of the Archdiocese, just as I have donated my personal money. I am not a heavy hitter (unfortunately I do not have millions of dollars to donate), but I have personally donated many thousands of dollars to the Archdiocese. I have been invited to stewardship boards, numerous fundraising events, etc. I have authored articles in defense of the Archdiocese, its bishops and His Eminence. Despite my recent article meant to shed some light on a question regarding Cardinal George (sadly, not a favorable question – but one that many friends and associates were asking for a long time), I have always defended my church.

Now that I have shared with you some details of my background concerning the Archdiocese of Chicago, you can understand that I am speaking as a person that has been closely working with the Archdiocese for some years, thus giving credibility to my viewpoints.

Despite my love and respect for Bishop Lyne and Cardinal George, I am compelled to expand a bit on the many horrors that have transpired for decades within the Archdiocese here in Chicago. It is no secret that sex abuse matters have been the focus of numerous scandals, some of which continue to plague the Archdiocese, unfortunately. What I find especially alarming is the Archdiocese of Chicago’s obsession over ‘scandal prevention’, which seems to be more of a concern than the safety of children. The depositions of Cardinal George and Bishop Goedert clearly show that scandal is among their chief concern (in my opinion). It was sad to read letters regarding the late Cardinal Bernardine, who apparently was as worried about scandals as his successor seems to be. I understand that scandals are critical matters, but the safety of children is far more critical.

In the last year, I have learned a great deal through KTF Media Group. People from all over the world have contacted me about the articles that I have written, sharing their thoughts and information, both secretly and in the open. Therefore, I have made the recent decision to start a community watch program, specifically for people affected by pedophile priests. I have named the program after the late John Cardinal Cody. Its full name is the Cardinal Cody Observation Commission. You may visit its website at www.ccocommission.org (which should be live very soon).

This program allows anyone to report sex crimes anonymously. All fresh leads involving minors will be instantly reported to the proper authorities. It is my goal to provide a unique opportunity to informants and victims interested in sharing their story. Perhaps such opportunity will help build confidence in these troubled individuals to a point where they will come out of the closet with their story and walk into a police station and press charges. In the spirit of Cardinal Cody, we will clean up the Church!

A large cash reward will be paid to anyone that provides information leading to the arrest and conviction of a pedophile.

KTF Media Group and the newly formed Cardinal Cody Observation Commission does endorse Voice Of The Faithful.

Okay, we have heard a great deal about quasi African American President Barack Obama and African American Harvard Professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. falsely casting suspicion over Cambridge Police Sgt Crowley for supposedly being hateful and stupid. Not once has anyone addressed the inappropriate behavior of Obama and Gates, who teamed up against a good police officer. Clearly, the officer arrested the suspect for behaving in a disorderly fashion, which means it was an appropriate arrest. I disagree with the fact that disorderly conduct charges were dropped. On what grounds would the State of Massachusetts drop these charges?

In my opinion it seems that we have an alleged criminal (disorderly conduct is a crime), Henry Gates, who pulled the race card and walked away from criminal charges. This is no different than any of the criminals from Obama’s home base, Chicago, scores of who have avoided criminal prosecutions on countless occasions by bribing Cook County judges (see Operation Greylord).

Allow me to make better sense of what I am saying. Whether a defendant influences the judicial process by falsely manipulating a ‘race’ argument (with the aid of a stupid United States President), or pays a bribe to a member of the judicial system to have their criminal case dismissed, both scenarios are inconsistent with the factual legal grounds necessary for dismissal. Therefore, both of my examples are just as inappropriate, not to mention classical, Chicago/scofflaw behavior. What only compounds this travesty of justice is the fact that our President put his nose in this situation in the first place.

On an equally despicable note, President Obama hosted a beer-drinking get-together, further exploiting this ridiculous situation in the public spotlight, with no significant outcome. When the dust settles, all we have left is an alleged criminal that avoided prosecution. For those who would argue that ‘disorderly conduct’ is a petty offense, who cares? Why bother to have laws if they are not going to be enforced? Hell, why have laws at all?

This ‘beer summit’ just boils down to a PR scheme to resuscitate Obama’s flagging popularity, and most likely on our dime. I want to know, who paid the travel expenses for Gates and Crowley to visit D.C.? My guess is that taxpayers did. I wonder what the tab ended up being? Surely four beers could only have cost a few thousand dollars, right? Bottom’s up, America!
